the correct response is to go find them, punch them in the gut and inform said person that they aren’t a high res image.

God, explaining DPI, high res, HD, etc to people who ought to understand those things is so frustrating.

Yep. My favorite is when the engineer asks for a database. Folks, a spreadsheet is not a database. Also, when I ask for your files, don’t send me a PDF, give me the source files: DGN or DWG, please. While we’re at it, stop calling all geospatial data “shapefiles.”

A couple years ago I heard the same from a guy who was hired by our building owner to make logos for the suite doors. They were free from the owner. I decided we should pass.
